Campers have use of Cedarland's extensive facilities that include:

Staff
Cedarland has excellent camper-to-staff ratios, following the state
guideline of 5 to 1 for children age six and under and 10 to 1 with
older children. Qualified counselors remain with their age groups
throughout each day and will assist certified instructors in specialty
areas. All Camp Counselors are subject to criminal background checks.
Sessions
Cedarland's all-day programs are offered in two-week sessions. Full Day
Camp Starts the week of June 23th and runs for 8 weeks.
Junior Outing Camp starts the on July 7th and runs for
6 weeks. Half-Day Preschool Camp is offered in 8 one -week sessions
starting June 23th.
Health
The Mass. Dept. of Public Health requires each camper to have a
physical examination by his/her physician within 18 months of the start
of camp as well as a current certified immunization record signed or
stamped by the Doctor. Once enrolled you will receive our camp health
form. All health forms are due back to our office by May 1st,
2008. For additional medical needs, please contact the Camp Director.
Hours
Full Day/Jr. Outing Camps run from 9:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through
Friday. To accommodate working parents supervised care is offered to
Full Day and Junior Outing Campers prior to and after normal camp
hours. Extended hours are available Monday through Friday from 7:30 am
until 5:30 pm for an additional flat fee of $55 per week. Preschool
Camp runs from 9:15am-12:30pm, Monday through Friday. During extended hours campers are combined and are given free choice activities to participate in. Counselors for extended hours vary day to day. There is no extended care for Preschool Campers.
Tuition/Deposit
Tuition varies depending on the camp and the number of sessions
enrolled. There is a sibling discount
of $30 per week for second and any additional children within the same
family. There are no make-up days or reimbursement for missed
days or holidays. A member discount is offered to any camper who is
a current FULL, BASIC, or SUMMER member of Cedardale Health &
Fitness.

Billing/Deposit
To reserve a place at camp for your child a non-refundable,
non-transferable deposit of $100 per session is required($50 per
session for Preschool Camp) is required. The deposit must be
paid at the time of registration. The balance of camp tuition will be
billed on May 1st and due by June 1, 2008. If you decide to extend for
another week or session after the camp season has begun the higher
session rate will apply. For any campers registering after June 1,
2008, tuition must be paid in full at the time of registration. Tuition
is not refundable.
Lunch/Snack
All campers should bring their own lunch in a sturdy container to
camp each day. For safety reasons please do not send glass bottles.
Cedarland will provide refrigerator space as well as a nutritious
morning snack.
